The Department of Public Safety, Historic Center, Commerce and Public Roads has been awarded the 2014 GALACTYCO Award for his commitment to the integration of LGBT people.
The award was shared with the Port Authority of Cartagena, in the category of Public Institutions.
On Thursday 26 June, will host the Gala Casino Cartagenero Pride, an event that focuses on the recognition of human rights of LGBT people.
Thus, the Association of Collective GALACTYCO Cartagena and Shire commitment to work of different entities, private or public, through various activities supporting this group.
It is the fourth year that fulfills this social event in Cartagena.
This Tuesday announced the list of winners, but not until June when they can collect their trophy.
This year's recipients were: Metropolis FM Murcia, in the category of media; Errespetuz Basque Association for the defense and the integration of transgender persons in the LGBT Collective; TuttiScooter Coffee & Fictions in Business , Popular Ownership Club Ciudad de Murcia in Social Collectives; Alba Alberto Alonso, education coordinator of the collective GALACTYCO in Activist of the Year, and as honorary members Víllora Mari Carmen Sanchez and Daniel García Guirao; addition aforementioned award of public administrations.
