The Committee on Finance and Interior, meeting this afternoon, chaired by the councilor of the area, Fatima Suanzes has ruled favorably the only issue was on the agenda, the proposal of Councillor of Greater Government Modernization Administration, Internal Affairs, Procurement and Heritage, Jose Cabezas, on dissolution of the Consortium created the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia for the construction and financing of a Palace of Sports in Cartagena.
The opinion has had the votes of the council of the popular group, and against, the three opposition groups.
This City Council starts the process of dissolution of the organism, a time the autonomous region has shown a willingness to leave, and when they are almost finished construction of the sports facility.
As a result of this solution, the Sports Palace become the property of the City of Cartagena which is responsible for its management, while the Autonomous Community shall amortization loan of 15 million euros, with which the works have been funded.
