The mayor of Cartagena, Pilar Barreiro, and the president of RENFE, Julio Gómez Pomar, have signed today a cooperation agreement FITUR aimed at promoting tourism in the city, marking the final objective of increasing tourists arriving by train.
Thus, through this agreement, Renfe is committed to disseminating promotional packages in all centers stations Atocha Madrid, Valencia J.
Sorolla, Albacete and Alicante, as well as a promotional video broadcast on Channel Cartagena Madrid-Valencia AVE train, with a maximum duration of 3 minutes for 15 days, to be determined by both parties.

For these trips, Renfe provide up to 5 Fam Trip, a maximum of 20 people each, for the Madrid-Cartagena-Madrid, with a reduction of 50 percent, while the City will provide accommodation of such persons and any additional service that may be of interest for promotion.
