Awards Social Council of the Polytechnic University of Cartagena (UPCT) already have this year's winners in the arts, sponsored by Repsol Foundation, and paragraph EOG or career work, funded by Ginés Group Huertas Motor.
The awards also recognize associates in research and companies that create jobs, will be delivered on the 28th during the celebration of the feast of St. Thomas Aquinas.
The 'In Memoriam Ginés Martínez A Huertas and effort overcoming Award', which distinguishes the best work to career or degree and this year has completed its fourth year, has fallen on Irmante Jackute, student of the Faculty of Business .
The award is endowed with an amount of 1,200 euros that the award should be allocated to training activities Masters or PhD in UPCT.
This year the awards have incorporated Social Council through the sponsorship of Fundación Repsol two new categories of artistic theme for the pictorial and literary ability, rewarding the best drawings related to Cartagena and the surrounding area and stories of science and technology.
The jury 'Nicomedes Gomez Award' drawing awarded the first prize of 1,000 euros, to work 'decomposition amphitheater' Parra Daniel Lozano, the second prize and 500 euros a 'Perspective' Jesus Moreno and Guardiola special mention for being a member of UPCT also equipped with 500 euros, Miguel García Córdoba for his 'Storm in Cabo de Palos'.
Meanwhile, the jury of 'Galileo Award' stories of Science and Technology has awarded to the author of 'Connection', Francisco Rodríguez Andrés Blanco, the first prize and $ 1,000; honorable mentions, each equipped with 500 euros, a ' Remain on the line 'by Miguel Sánchez Robles, and' Precursors', John Molina War, as well as special mention for belonging to the university community, also awarded 500 euros, Salvador Díaz Martínez for his story 'Students' .
The "Enrique Martínez Muñoz" award, which recognizes organizations that are distinguished by contract research and collaborate in research, technological development and innovation rests UPCT this year's Murciana Logistics Association.
And the "Félix Martí Alpera" award, aimed at companies and institutions that are distinguished by their collaboration in the employability of graduates UPCT is in this edition Repsol.
These two awards are honorary nature and exclude funding.
