The CEO of Older IMAS, Enrique Perez Abellan, today visited the residence 'Los Almendros' of Cartagena, where the Community has 38 of the 74 public squares that this center is accredited in the area of ​​dementia, and whose contract is to 889,484 euros for the period May 2012-March 2014.
Perez Abellan highlighted the work being put in homes "to provide dependent preventive, rehabilitative care and personal attention."
In this regard, he praised the work of professionals "that give careful attention to those who, both in social and family situation as limitations on personal autonomy, can not be met in their own homes and require placement in a residential facility ".
The residential complex 'Los Almendros' is located in Cartagena Perín deputation, in a rural setting where residents enjoy a variety of services such as medical, 24 hour nursing, physiotherapy, geriatrics and occupational therapy activities.
This center has a total of 174 accredited beds, distributed on media care hospital beds, day stays center, specializing in dementia and protected area for autonomous persons apartments, all built on a large plot of 20,000 square meters of gardens and areas green.
The CEO of Seniors visited the area of ​​dementia and supervised apartments, where the resort has 114 accredited beds, 40 wards and 74 in twenty apartments in dementias.
During his visit, Perez Abellan recalled that the town of Cartagena has right now with nine residential care, which includes a total of 685 accredited beds, of which 257 are integrated into the public network of the Community.
