Regional Conference on Youth Guarantee coming to an end.
The mayor, Pilar Barreiro, has been responsible for closing the Friday event was held at the Faculty of Business at the Polytechnic University of Cartagena.
Promoting training and employment among young people is the main aim of this conference organized by the Ministry of Presidency in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, Universities and Employment and the city of Cartagena.
More than 200 professionals have participated in this conference that took place last Thursday and Friday in Cartagena.
Through this initiative has released the draft European Youth Guarantee, which involves the commitment of government to provide training or refresher courses for this group who has lost their job or just finished their education.
In these meetings we have analyzed the different experiences they have had in other European countries through this project develops and abroad.
In the closing ceremony, the Director of Employment and Training Service (SEF), Alejandro Zamora, and Director General of Youth, Veronica Lopez, have spoken a few words to mark the importance of this conference and the important role it plays in youth today.
