On Wednesday, December 11, Councillor of Greater Employment Segado Joaquín Martínez, and Councilman à area of Social Care, Antonio Rodríguez Calderón, delivered the diplomas to students of occupational workshop facilities and maintenance of gardens and Green Zones.
These nine students, all unemployed over 25s and basic knowledge of gardening, you have done the training practices in the gardens of the Asylum of the Sisters of the Poor, and the Training Centre Canteras, contributing to the adequacy of these grounds.
The duration of course is of 305 hours, taught contents according to the Certificate of Professional Installations and Maintenance of Gardens and Green Spaces.
During the course they have performed both theoretical and practical training techniques basic operations at garden centers, basic operations for installation of gardens and parkland, and basic maintenance of gardens and parkland operations.
The objective was to broaden the knowledge of students in the gardening industry and facilitate their reintegration into the labor market.
Since the Agency of Local Development and Employment is already working on finding companies for students who have completed the training satisfactorily perform labor practices in companies.
