The Municipal Commission of Voluntary Commitment Award issued this morning the winner of this failure V edition which went to Sara Cabezas, a citizens with a broad curriculum in voluntary work, in the words of Councillor for Social Care, Antonio Calderon, and currently plays his unselfish commitment to the Vincentian Partnership.
In addition, at the meeting held on Friday at the Edificio La Milagrosa, has also agreed to provide a collective award to the volunteers of the Spanish Association Against Cancer for their work in the field of hospital care.
The awards will be presented on Monday, December 2, at 19:30 am in the Auditorium of the Cultural Hall of CAM in the High Street.
The Commission, formed by the Department of Social Care, Education, Youth, Women and Sports, was chaired by Antonio Calderon. Additional integrated by the Councillor for Education, Joseph Marotta, serving as vice president and com or municipal Technical Councils involved and a representative of the Volunteers Platform Cartagena.
E l Voluntary Commitment Award, which annually convenes the Municipal Volunteer Program of the City of Cartagena, aims to recognize work done by individual citizens or entities, in the exercise of voluntary action for individuals, families or vulnerable or in promoting volunteerism and social development of social projects in volunteering constitutes an essential element territories.
