The Municipal Commission of Voluntary Commitment Award will meet tomorrow, Friday, November 29, at 9:00 pm in the Office of the Councillor for Social Care, Antonio Calderon, in the building of the Miraculous, to choose the winner of this year which reaches its fifth edition.
The Commission, formed by the Department of Social Care, Education, Youth, Women and Sports, presides Antonio Calderon, and is also integrated by the Councillor for Education, Joseph Marotta, serving as vice president and t municipal echnical of Councillors involved and a representative of the Volunteers Platform Cartagena.
Chosen the winner, the prize will be awarded at a ceremony to be held on Monday, December 2, at 19:30 am in the Auditorium of the Cultural Hall of CAM in the High Street.
The Voluntary Commitment Award, which annually convenes the Municipal Volunteer Program of the City of Cartagena, aims to recognize work done by individual citizens or entities, in the exercise of voluntary action for individuals, families or territories vulnerable or in promoting volunteerism and social development of social projects in volunteering constitutes an essential element.
