The solidarity event and Charity Cartagena celebrates its seventh edition with holding a Charity Paddle Tournament, with proceeds divided this time between the delegation of the Spanish Association Against Cancer in Cartagena and the Little Sisters of the Poor.
In the presentation of the tournament today, have appeared the Councillor for Sports, Diego Ortega, President of the Association Cartagena by charity, event organizer, Matthias Barco, Vice President of Cartagena AECC, Carlos Diaz and Juan Moreno, representing of one of the sponsoring companies.
The tournament will be held
the weekend of 14 and 15 December, at the sports of Go On Fitness & Paddle Club in the Industrial Cabezo Beaza, where entries can be made ​​at 20 euros per person, and deposited the bases.
The competition will involve 20 male couples and 15 couples modality in female form, developing the thick of it on Saturday 14, while fighting for the 3rd and 4th place and the final will be on Sunday, a day latter also includes in its program other sports activities such as Zumba or indoo r cycle, with free entry upon registration.
In the six previous editions, Cartagena for Charity has raised 7200 euros in donations to charities in the city.
This time, the money will go to the AECC, which devotes its funds to prevention and cancer research, and the Little Sisters of the Poor, we are finalizing the restoration of the Nursing Home of Barrio de la Concepción.
