The absence of comprehensive social policy plans in Cartagena neighborhoods, lack of police presence in the residential neighborhoods such as Mediterranean, a very poor lighting and no response from City Hall to the constant complaints from neighbors about altercations, are causing an increase of insecurity in neighborhoods such as the Private Mediterranean.
Unfortunate events as occurred on November 18, are common on the streets of this populous neighborhood of Cartagena.
The complaints of the neighborhood's social groups are the silence of the municipal administration, and only when conflicts arise wounded lukewarm reaction occurs by the municipal authorities.
From SPCT demand the government team that is serious about the serious deterioration of living that is taking place in Cartagena neighborhoods as a result of the lack of response from the council to this situation, on the other hand, is not new to the neighbors.
The neighborhoods of Cartagena are an admirable example of social interaction between people of different cultural status, racial and economic, is why this example we can all be proud, to be preserved with comprehensive social action plans that help neighborhoods avoid situations of social degradation and marginalization as taking place and adequate police presence to sanction undesirable situations that disturb the harmony among neighbors.
