A total of 350 athletes coming from 10 autonomous communities will meet in Cartagena to participate in the UEFA Futsal Spain Intellectual Disability, organized by the FEddi (Spanish Federation of Intellectual Disability Desportes), and will be developed in the city port from 14 to 16 November.

The details of this sporting event, with the cooperation of the City of Cartagena and Primisport club, have been released by the Councillor for Sports, Diego Ortega, vice president of FEddi, Jose Moreno, and Isidoro Martinez, the latter in Primisport club representation.

6 Cartagena sports courts (Municipal Pavilion of Guimbarda Wssell, Four Saints, The Albujón, Mills Marfagones, Cabeza Beaza and New Construction of Cartagena) will be hosting this competition, facilities which, incidentally, have been praised by Moreno and also by the mayor of sports who thanked the collaboration of users thereof, after seeing altered its timetable for the development of this event.

Overall, and complemented the teams in the Region of Murcia, the sign component 37 sports clubs from Andalusia, Asturias, Aragón, Canarias, Cantabria, Castilla-La Mancha, Castilla y Leon, Madrid and Valencia.

For levels, identifying three by the degree of motor: Competition with 1st and 2nd division; Adapted also for 1st and 2nd division, and Skills Athletes. All are governed by current legislation of the Spanish Federation Futsal and FEddi.

With respect to programming, sports competitions, from 9-14 pm, are scheduled for 14 and 15, while the complementary also play these days but in the afternoon, for 17-20 hours.

On Aug. 16, the tournament resumes at 9 with qualifying positions and after 16 hours the final matches. The closing and awards ceremony will be held on the same Saturday at the Central Pavilion of Guimbarda Wssell at 6 in the later.

Notably, finally, the close collaboration between the Department of Sports and Tourism, as the mayor has qualified Diego Ortega, and this national competition is an example of this position, that in order to stimulate economic activity of Cartagena, Cartagena Port of Cultures has scheduled a special price for both the athletes and their companions, that exceed 400 people.
