The winners of last year's contest next week to star in a series of concerts, which begins Monday in Lorca Auditorium with six solo performance accompanied by the Chamber Orchestra of Cartagena
On Monday November 11th Concert Series kicks off the XVII edition Promotional Classical Music Competition for Young Artists of the Region of Murcia, between strings and brass, that will star the winners of last year's contest, with the Orchestra House of Cartagena.
The first of these concerts will be held on Monday, at 19.00 am in the Auditorium of Music Narciso Llepes of Lorca, where they will perform as soloists Marcos Lopez (viola, I prize ex aequo string mode), Francisco Javier Albarracin (viola , I prize ex aequo string mode), Rosana Guirado (piano, I prize ex aequo mode piano), José Jorge Miñarro (marimba, percussion mode I prize), Jesus Ortega (guitar, I prize mode guitar) and David Perez (trumpet, I brass mode award).
Each of them will play the following parts: Marcos Lopez's Concerto for Viola and Orchestra by Karl Stamitz, Francisco Javier Albarracin one of Max Bruch Romanza, Rosana Piñero Guirado Concerto for Piano and Orchestra No. 12 of Mozart, Jose Jorge Miñarro, awarded percussion, the two movements of a Concerto for marimba and orchestra adapted, Jesus Ortega, with guitar, mandolin and orchestra concerto by Antonio Vivaldi, and to finalize David Perez, with his trumpet, a Concert of Giuseppe Tartini.
While the public, these concerts offer the opportunity to enjoy the talents of these six winners, for them is a unique educational experience, having the opportunity to perform as soloists with a professional orchestra.
Admission is free until all seats.
Remember that the deadline to apply for the seventeenth edition of between strings and brass remain open until December 20.
The competition, regional scope, is organized by the Conservatory of Music in Cartagena and the Youth Council of the City of Cartagena, with the collaboration of other stakeholders in giving promotion to classical music and its performers.
