The School of Public Security held today and tomorrow a course on firefighting and respiratory protection for employees of the company, which forms part of a collaboration agreement between it and the city of Cartagena
Risk prevention and safety at work, are at the origin of the collaboration which have entered the city of Cartagena and Combined Cycle Gas Natural Fenosa-ENAGÁS-in the city, for the training of such industry regarding firefighting, rescue, prevention and cooperation in joint exercises.
Result of this agreement is the Comprehensive Course and Respiratory Protection Firefighting being taught today and tomorrow Friday at the premises of the School of Public Safety Cartagena (SPACE), attended by 15 students, employees ENAGÁS.
It is a training twelve hours long, taught by specialists in the field of Fire Service of the City of Cartagena, which is prior to a drill to be held next year and focuses on the basic principles of fire, acquire education and skills against outbreaks of fire and, finally, the characteristics, use and basic maintenance of respiratory protective equipment.
This initiative also fulfills one of the objectives of the SPACE, as is training for prevention through the development of educational activities and dissemination of techniques and attitudes in the field of security, aimed at individuals, groups or companies or other agencies.
