The meetings are supported by the decisions taken at meetings of both political Cartagena, October 29, 2013 - Left-Greens and Socialists for Cartagena have initiated a series of meetings on a possible convergence process to join hands political programs and proposals for future electoral events.
These meetings, which does not rule include other left formations that want to participate in this process, are supported by the decisions of the assemblies of both parties.
Thus, in the case of United Left-Greens, the decision to initiate a process of convergence and approximation to other formations of similar ideology and political objectives, was taken in the Local Assembly held on April 27 and was contained in document policy approved by the attendees.
In regards to Socialists for Cartagena, the agreement was discussed and approved at the meeting that made its members on June 3.
The heads of both parties, Jaime Moltó Cayetano and Juan Luis Martínez Madrid have appointed a group of militants to be the meet and come postures, reach agreements and a joint configured minimum, which subsequently can be enriched in debates open to social groups and the general public, in the face of ideas and proposals for Cartagena and Murcia for the next elections.
