Students of Industrial and Teleco that integrate IEEE-UPCT team have won the fourth place in the national marathon IEEEXtreme Programing 2013, held this weekend.
The participants in this international competition have to solve programming challenges for 24 hours continuously using as main programming languages: C, C + +, C #, Java, Python, Ruby, Perl, PHP, and Haskel, The Team IEEE-UPCT, formed by students from the schools of Industrial and Telecommunications Santiago Egea, José Sesma Martinez and Emilio Pérez Juárez, has been around since 200 among the 2,000 international teams have competed.
In this tournament 17 teams participated nacionales.Este is the second year that participates in the competition UPCT IEEEXtreme, organized by the Institute of Electrical and Electrónicos.En the last edition, the combination of these three students from the Polytechnic University of Cartagena achieved sixth place in state level of this marathon in which, according to the president of the association IEEE = UPCT, Manuel Navarro, highlights the high level of knowledge of the participants.
