Organized by the School of Public Safety (SPACE) and within the Training Plan of the City of Cartagena, on 21, 23 and 28 October, will be a course on Semiautomatic External Defibrillator (AED), with the aim of reducing mortality and sequelae that cause Cardiac and disseminate Stops Basic Life Support techniques among ancillary personnel in accordance with the recommendations of the European Resuscitation Council.
It also aims to help boost strategies for early defibrillation in cardiac response and facilitate the integration of the different actors involved in the chain of survival.
Among the subjects to be taught include Introduction to CPR, Basic Life Support (BLS) Basic Life Support Training (BLS) Semi-Automatic External Defibrillation (AED) and plan to survive a heart attack.
The course will be taught by medical personnel approved by the Public Health Directorate of the Ministry of Health and is intended for Firefighters, Local Police and staff whose offices there defibrillator.
