The Mayor, Pilar Barreiro, and the Minister of Education, Universities and Employment, Pedro Antonio Sánchez, this morning visited municipal facilities Canteras Youth Center.

The peculiarity of this center is that the rehabilitation and upgrading of both the central and the hostel building and grounds has been done with the training courses and schools workshop, which has enabled some 291 students have been involved in their recovery.
In addition, from 2012 until the first half of 2013 were given 46 courses through nearly 800 facilities youth, specifically 781 people.
The training offer Canteras Youth Center is very wide and fits the needs of employment in the area, stated the director.

Regarding your investment, with contributions mainly from the SEF and the city of Cartagena, was allocated 5 ½ million euros in its rehabilitation.
At the end, Sanchez has also referred to the youth unemployment figures in Cartagena that, in his words, reveal an improvement.
So far this year there are 300 fewer unemployed, so this figure must encourage us to continue investing in this form of training.
