17:44 hours. - A woman aged 78, a German national, died this afternoon at the German Beach in La Manga del Mar Menor, to undergo immersion syndrome while bathing.

Multiple calls to 1-1-2, including a nurse who was on the beach at the time, indicated that water had removed an older woman, unconscious and requested the urgent dispatch of an ambulance.

Immediately place has shifted to a Mobile Emergency SMS, which has continued recovery maneuvers initiated by the nurse.

The optional EMU has reported that despite resuscitation attempts, the woman of 78 years old and a German national had died.

Also been reported to local police and Guardia Civil Cartagena.
