The Youth Council has organized through T-LA Program a cultural visit to the town of Jumilla, which takes place on Sunday October 27, departing at 9 am from the premises of the Youth Resource Center in the Paseo Alfonso XIII.
Famous for its wines with Designation of Origin Jumilla is located in the highlands of the Region of Murcia, where coastal lands give way to the plains of La Mancha.
Rich in history and heritage, there are many traces that remain on their evolution.
The Iberian town of Coimbra, in the Barranco Ancho, is one of the most important in the region, like the villas of Roman.
The Arab world left his legacy through archeology and toponymy.
In the morning, take out a visit with a local guide through the old town of Jumilla, the monastery of Santa Ana and then to a winery with wine tasting.
The activity includes a traditional meal in a restaurant dining.
