The School of Public Safety of the City of Cartagena this course maintains its commitment to the local police training in accident reconstruction, hence the various editions of the course that has been offered on four levels, organized by the Community Autonomous action now add additional training, which was first included in the Municipal Training Scheme, which will provide sketches and topography Notions applied to accident reconstruction.
The course of 16 hours, starting Tuesday and will be held on 9, 15 and 16 October, the hours of 16.30 to 20.30 hours, with 25 students and will be taught by specialists of the Technical University of Cartagena.
Topics discussed include the interpretation of plans and maps; scales; supplements trigonometry and geometry; notions of dimension drawings, measuring distances, heights, angles, cambers, earrings and bows, and making sketches.
For its theme, this course will be mandatory for agents that make up the Judicial Police Unit of Traffic, better known as Atestados, which currently has 22 police officers, and there will be several editions.
The aim of this training, along with other complementary also on Autocad courses or Photography, is to make the agents in accident reconstruction specialists.

Parallel and from October 3 in ESPAC also being taught another edition of Accident Reconstruction Course Level IV, targeting police officers and municipalities of the Region of Murcia, which runs until November 28 , with a duration of 35 teaching hours.
Along with Level III courses is very high level of expertise and training in the field, and are based on the application of the principles of Newtonian physics to the accident investigation.
Concepts such as acceleration, shift energy, frictional force, rolling resistance, center of mass, etc..

Traditionally, this level of expertise only been taught in technical universities through Masters or Diploma courses, as in the case of Catalonia, Valencia and Madrid, or by private centers specializing in this type of research mainly located Zaragoza and Ávila.

The Cartagena is one of the few Local Police School in Spain that have addressed the investigation of accidents at these levels, given the complexity of the teachings.
These courses are designed and taught by local police School of the Autonomous Community of Murcia and SPACE, thanks to the collaboration of several experts in the field, such as the local police Inspector Antonio García Ruiz, that experience as Chief Local Police in Cartagena for 25 years, added his degree in various engineering specialties, and Local Police Sergeant Juan Jose Diaz Noguera, Criminologist, who was for many years responsible for the service of the local police Atestados Cartagena.
