The president of the Regional Assembly of Murcia, Francisco Vidal Celdran, received this morning the Government Delegate, president of the Commonwealth of Taibilla Channel, Adolfo Marco Gallardo, who thanked the regional parliament's institutional support to the entity presiding.
On January 24, in the midst of discussing possible privatization, Regional Assembly unanimously adopted an official statement on behalf of the Commonwealth of Taibilla Channel, in urging the National Government to discard any of action that might lead to the alteration of the current legal status of the Commonwealth.
"The Assembly-was specified in the text-not currently finds reasons to justify a change in the operation of the Commonwealth of Taibilla Channel and understands that this agency must continue to provide the service to the community with the same efficiency that has been shown to today ".
After the interview and questions from the media, the president of the Commonwealth is confident that this organization will not have to raise water rates next year, thanks to good water year lived, which has increased water reserves in the region.
Gallardo has also referred to the investments that the entity headed for the Region of Murcia to improve its infrastructure, which will amount to 33 million euros in the coming year.
And said that the debt of 20 million euros that municipalities have with the Commonwealth is a debt under control, they expect to significantly reduce provider payment plan.
