The opening of the same, as explained by the Social Care mayor, Antonio Calderon, will take place on Thursday October 1.
And, coinciding with the International Day of Older Persons, from 17.30 hours and over two hours, will honor the greatest born in 2013, the centennial of the city as stressed Calderon, the Once you recognize the work of volunteers older Chest Experience sharing their knowledge with the rest. The event will be held at the Cultural Hall of Caja Mediterráneo (C / Mayor 11) and ends with the performance of group, the lolailos.
The program broadly addresses two main sectors, in the words of Calderon.
On one hand, encompasses the elders over 43 club Cartagena, whose figure rises to more than 3,000 seniors, and many centers of disability as he or Prolam pices, the latter with workshops.
Regarding the actions, highlight the gerontogimnasia, the stimulation program and memory training or induction course and practice Nordic walking, to name a few.
The second section brings together a host of activities for the group of elderly and disabled of the city in which they excel the use of new technologies such as computer or telephone, and workshops that explore the history of the city and they have with a good host, recalled the mayor.
Alongside these activities here outlined, the program schedule includes three days Informayor Fall, 15,16 and 17 October, which will be reserved for the V Fair Resources and Social Services, Femadis 2013.
The esplanade of the Port of Cartagena will be the meeting point where visitors can see the different crafts made ​​by older and gourmet dishes made ​​by them that will delight all the guests who come to the facility.
Femadis open from 10.30 to 14:00 and from 17 to 20.30 hours.
Remember also that in the program for this quarter Informayor initiatives combined with the payment free, swinging the fork of the latter from 10 to 25 euros.
