Professor Antonio Garrido has been chosen now director of the School of Architecture and Building Engineering.
Garrido has received the support of 78% of the Board of Center and 92% of the votes cast, which translates to 23 votes in favor and 2 white.
A Antonio Garrido accompany him on his management team Lanzón Marcos, as deputy director of Quality and Research; Vicente Ferrandiz, as deputy director of Academic, Mary Mestre, as assistant Awards and Scholarships and Javier Prior, Secretary of the School.
The new director teaches at the UPCT since 2001 and directed the Service Quality Management from 2006 to 2008
Antonio Garrido has a PhD in Experimental Science Teaching.
It is the principal investigator of the research group of Teaching Engineering and Architecture at the Polytechnic University of Cartagena (UPCT).
He specializes in applied statistics to structural concrete and belongs to the presentation of the Spanish Education Ministry.
The school has 1,200 students and was founded five years ago.
