The idea of giving life to downtown spaces and solar advantage so far unused, has led to the City, through the Department of Commerce, to give the green light to the establishment of a Crafts Show at San Fernando, supporting and the proposed Merchants Association this central pathway.
From Friday 20 to Sunday September 29, coinciding with the Festival of Carthaginians and Romans, the craft stalls, located next to the escalator to access the windlass, remain open to the public in the morning (from 10.30 to 15.00 hours) and afternoon (from 17.00 to 22.00 hours).
This initiative also created with the aim of continuity, as it will launch during the first weekend of October, as part of the revitalization of the city of San Fernando Street.
Among the items that can be purchased in the sample, include custom bottle caps and stain remover, made ​​both by an artisan inventor, skin and leather; trapillos and baby items handmade, jewelery work in silver, tortoiseshell and stones; deodorant natural stone grain rice pad printing, metal and wood, Indian handicrafts and hammocks; garrapiñadass and cotton candy, macramé, hand painted items, horoscopes and jewelry made from recycled products.
