The Guardia Civil of the Region of Murcia, in the framework of "Plan Provincial Copper Theft" and after a complex investigation, have arrested four members of a boy band, two of them minors, suspected of crime of burglary for the theft of copper wiring lighting of Santa Ana-Cartagena.
They have recovered eight kilograms of copper wire had been stolen and then sold in a junkyard in the region, and have been brought to justice.

Evidence obtained during the investigation process led to agents specialized in safety prevention, to a group of youths who allegedly were behind the authorship of the subtractions.
Modus operandi

The result of the investigations carried out and once identified the young band members, officers began a search that culminated, in recent days, with the location and arrest of four persons allegedly responsible for the crimes investigated.

Detained
The Civil Guard has proceeded to the arrest, suspected of the crime of robbery, the four members of the boy band of Spanish nationality and aged between 19 and 14 years.
Seized
As part of the performances have been recovered eight kilograms of copper wire from the lighting of the N-301a, at the height of the parish of Santa Ana Cartagena, whose value, together with the damage to the facility, exceeds 12,000 euros.
The detainees, seized property and proceedings have been made available to the magistrate No. 4 of Cartagena (Murcia) and Office of Children of Murcia.
