The Summer School of the Virgin of Charity neighborhood began closing in late August to make way for the new school year 2013-2014.
Councillor for Sports, Diego Ortega, wanted to share with young people a sports day when the last activity of the summer program.
The Gymkhana, full of popular games, was held at the premises of Lopez Belmonte Stadium and next to the mayor, attended by the president of the College Football Hope, Jose Rivera, the representative of the Neighborhood Association, Gloria Moya and coordinator Sports Activities City of Cartagena, Eduardo Armada.
This Summer School opened on July 3 with a wide range of cultural and sporting activities that have encouraged the kids to have a well-deserved summer.
And, over the last two months younger days have enjoyed for shirts, movie nights, outings to Dugout for Playa Paraiso, and have even taken their own path Strengths with marches to the mountains of Cartagena, Galeras, Refinery, Castillo San Julian, the Watchtower, Roland or Muela.
This Summer School is organized by the Department of Social Services, the Neighborhood Association and the Red Cross Youth. Likewise, also assist the Department of Sports, Citizenship and Youth, the latter through T-LA Program and College Football as Esperanza.
