Effective Fire Station Cartagena last night withdrew large branch falling from a tree in the old national 301, at the entrance to the town of El Albujón.
The incident occurred around 20:30 hours.
A call previously warned of the danger of falling off the branch, but when firefighters arrived, was already hanging from the tree.
Through managed to detach and by shredding chainsaws, subsequently reestablished circulation.
Also yesterday, members of the Fire Station attended a 90 year old man who lived alone and had fallen in his house in Park Street, unable to get up.
Firefighters tried unsuccessfully to access the front door and down a balcony and a gallery overlooking the San Fernando street.
Finally, the local police managed to locate a family who opened the door, preceding his transfer to the hospital for health services unit.
