Domestic violence accounts for scheduling the activities organized by the Department of Women for the months of October, November and December, among which also include travel, exhibitions, initiation into English, computer lessons, restoration and painting, and even a bags shop favelas
After the summer break and with the new school year already underway, the Department of Women's Hall of Cartagena returns with a new quarterly program of activities and a fresh and renewed, these changes are summarized under the theme, Active all year , said this morning as the Councillor for Women, Clara Hall.
Gender-based violence programming focus of October, November and December with dates marked on the calendar as of November 22 tribute to Christopher Martinez Campoy, former member of the Unit for the Prevention, Care and Protection of Domestic Violence of the National Police, at the Museum of the Roman Theatre.
This tribute will precede the events planned to mark the International Day Against Gender Violence November 25 and will begin at noon with reading the manifesto at the Palace Hall.
Alongside these emotional events and recognition, the program, which covers the last three months of 2013, is presented with two notable developments. The first one will feature the coaching, Discover your potential. Know is where to go, in the words of Heredia, who explained that while the course will begin on October 4, the presentation will take place on Thursday, September 12 in the auditorium of the UPCT from six in the evening.
Getting ahead is the name of the second workshop and also has collaboration CEPAIM Foundation.
A free action that will take place every Tuesday from 1 October to 26 November.
This program also includes the Women's Associations Fair from 14 to 16 September at the Plaza Juan XXIII, the Day of Rural Women in Cabo de Palos on October 28th or cultural trip to Jaen, the 11th and December 12.
And could not miss the traditional courses and workshops that will address the computer, initiation into English, restoring furniture, patchwork, bobbin, painting, and two original actions: the workshop handbags favelas and Know your Bethlehem, being exposed to the latter work.
The deadline for registration of courses and workshops will be held from 16 to 20 September, with the exception of self-help workshop, Thriving, to be held from 3 to 23 September. Admission criteria will be the order of registration while stakeholders must provide a photocopy of ID in order to formalize the solicitud.Respecto the price, the cost is 15 euros, but there are free actions.
The program of activities of the Department of Women for the months of October, November and December also has the support of the Government of the Region of Murcia, the Polytechnic University of Cartagena, the Roman Theatre Museum, CajaMurcia Foundation, and the Foundation CEPAIM.
