A year neighborhood association Tower Nicolas Perez organized in collaboration with the Department of Culture and Celebration of the City of Cartagena, and the Neighborhood Council, the festivities in honor of its patron Saint Nicholas.
The festivities begin Friday, August 23, with the opening of the activities by Jose Guijarro, Director of Roads in the Region of Murcia.
This will be followed by a dance group entertained Duet, during which a ham raffle.
On Saturday August 24, at 20:30 pm, will be the Mass in honor of St. Nicholas, with the intervention of the Rondalla of Isla Plana.
At the end of it there will be a procession through the way of the Viper, including thyme and rosemary, to the Chapel of St. Nicholas.
That night, at 23:00 pm, there will be dancing enlivened by the Shell group, ending at dawn with a chocolate.
All activities will take place in the gardens of the Old Hacienda restaurant in the slopes of the Cedacero.
Nicholas Tower is named after an ancient XVI century defensive tower that existed in this spot on the west of the Campo de Cartagena, in the council of Perín.
Several dozen scattered houses constitute its population along the road from Cartagena to the beaches of Isla Plana and La Azohía, before reaching the Cedacero.
