A dozen neighborhood kids participated Monday in the many sporting activities included in the Summer School organized by the City through the Department of Sports, Youth, Citizenship and Social Care
As its name implies, the Summer School of the Virgin of Charity neighborhood, not missing closure during the summer allowing youngsters to enjoy a host of sports and cultural activities.
Proof of this is the gymkhana held on Monday 12 August and attended by a dozen children.
Popular games such as jump rope took a clean sweep this morning session, which was led by recreational and other activities that took place at the Stadium neighborhood Lopez Belmonte of Cartagena.
This activity is involved in the summer program of the Department of Sports, which organizes this summer school along with the departments of Social Care, Citizenship and Youth, the latter through T-LA Program.
They also assist in its implementation Neighborhood Association neighborhood of Our Lady of Charity, Red Cross Youth and College Football Hope.
The Summer School will cast the close on Thursday August 29th with the closing ceremony, but until that day comes there are still about two weeks full of activities.
The closest will be held Wednesday August 14 the day at the beach in Cala Cortina, and Strengths Road to Monte de la Muela, this afternoon starting at 15.15 hours.
The month of August is completed Tentegorra tours, children's films, workshops paintings or rescheduling Strengths Road. Ultimately, all these activities are carried out with a single mission: that the youth of the Virgin of Charity neighborhood enjoy a well-deserved summer leisure initiatives, but also to entertainment and learning.
