After seeing the shocking news, in which a surfer who has been arrested for harassing minor Zaragoza through social networks, in which pretended to be a boy of 15 years and had more than 500 children added as friends from social networks, therefore I would like to dedicate this column to pay due attention to security and try to raise awareness of Cartagena that he must have respect for browsing the Internet and social networks, as there is a problem that arises in such terms as the defense of the image, identity and privacy in the Internet network.

Lately we are very dependent on social networks like Facebook, Myspace or Twitter, which guarantee a source of very effective exchange of information, and they are very useful if you really are dedicated to these few simple safety measures.

When selecting a network, we must bear in mind at all times that if we have a very strict and narrow profile, it will inform my friends or friends of our content and publications see other people, but instead if we an open profile, be able to communicate with us all the world and to see all our photos and our comments, but privacy in this case having little or no positive point to have a greater sociability and popularity, it is one of the general purposes of social networks, but in my opinion not guarantee the defense of our privacy.
