The Polytechnic University of Cartagena formed from next year professionals in the energy efficiency of buildings, critical after recent legislative changes.
The lessons will be part of a Master who taught UPCT by the College of Technical Architects and Building Engineers in the Region of Murcia (COAATIEMU), thanks to an agreement signed by both entities.
The Master of Energy Efficiency in Building will be a separate title of the School of Architecture and Building Engineering (Gk & IDE) UPCT and will have a 45% of teachers at the Polytechnic and teachers and researchers from the University of Alicante, shopping technological, professional and other independent professionals with a high degree of knowledge and experience in matters of the master.
The teaching of the Master, which will consist of 60 credits, will face, at the headquarters of COAATIEMU, and online, and will include workshops and technical visits.
The application period is now open and runs until September 13.
They offer up to 75 places, for which preference will COAATIEMU collegiate.

The agreement signed by the rector of the UPCT, Jose Antonio Franco, and COAATIEMU president, Antonio Marble, is the result of demand for specific education for future skilled in the building sector, motivated by the application of the EU Directive 31/2010 of 19 May 2010 on the energy performance of buildings, and transposition of the legislation determined by both state (RD 235/2013) and regional (Order May 24, 2013).
