The Councillor for Tourism, Palazón Carolina, has received this morning
the large group of young people participating in the European Summer University, managed from the association AEGEE-Alicante, and is done for the first time in the region of Murcia.
Palazón, who has addressed them in English, the working language of the project, said he is glad to see young people participating in these programs that encourage cultural encounters among adolescents.
Also have been invited to visit and learn about the heritage of the city of Cartagena during their stay in the region.
Upon receipt, the youth of this project have made ​​a tour of the Palace Hall.
The Summer University project offers young Europeans the opportunity to experience other cultures and develop their skills linga ¼ istics at low cost.
This group of young people came to Spain, visiting for the first time on 17 July, ending their stay next Monday July 29th. Though have passed the first nine days in the province of Alicante, the last four will enjoy them in the Region of Murcia.
