As is tradition, the Culture Department of the City of Cartagena and the Polyphonic Choir Carthagonova collaborate with Blue Planet in organizing the concert on Saturday July 27, at 22.30 hours, will be at the door of the Church of Santa Maria del Mar in Cabo de Palos.
For the occasion, this popular summer with the Havana meeting will feature two guest artists: Diego Pedro Squares and Paula Alonso, who will develop a program made ​​of zarzuela arias such as high-Knight Duo Duster (Luisa Fernanda), not cut more than a rose (The bunch of roses), Duo The Bobcat (Peñella), or the Habanera Duo Don Gil de Alcalá.
Along with the wide range of Havana, Carthagonova Polyphonic Choir will also present to the audience their most popular, allowing this evening by the sea is the feast of the traditional song.
Regarding the poster of this year, starring the Cabo de Palos lighthouse, its author is Alfredo Llamusí, a member of the Polyphonic Choir Carthagonova.
PATH OF ARTISTS
Pedro Diego has worked with extraordinary places as José Miguel Knee teachers, principal conductor of the Symphony Orchestra of the Region of Murcia, and J ose Antonio Torres Acosta, master arranger of the Teatro Real in Madrid and professor of opera and oratorio, in the College Canto de Madrid.
He has worked with the Symphony Orchestra of the Region of Murcia, the company lyrical Amigos de la Zarzuela de Cartagena, Table Lyric Mediterranean Romanza association, while it has performed in numerous recitals accompanied by piano.
Paula Alonso, who began his training at the School Musical Sauces, spent her singing studies at the Conservatory of Music in Cartagena, and is currently studying at the Conservatory of Music of Murcia.
Among his recent performances we highlight the zarzuela, La Gran Vía, with the Orchestra of the Conservatory of Cartagena in 2010, and a recital opera at the Teatro Circo Cartagena in 2012.
