Around 30 students from the summer courses at the Polytechnic University of Cartagena have visited SABIC for its activity and performance.
These activities will help students of engineering schools deepen technical aspects and processes referred to in their academic programs.
Students have toured the company's plant in La Aljorra and have had the chance to meet, the hands of their makers, industrial facilities and thus have a practical and most complete actual profession, considering scientific-technological factors economic, organizational ... studying in their specialty.
During the visit were able to exchange views with various heads of the plants, and know the products developed by SABIC, qualities and different applications for which they are employed.
INTERNSHIP PROGRAM
In addition, students from the University of Cartagena, the UMU and around the country have joined the program SABIC practices.
For three months, the 15 students will participate in two projects of the company and enjoy a learning opportunity and business contact with one of the world's leading suppliers of engineering thermoplastics.
