Five groups participated on Saturday July 13 at the Folk Festival in La Palma, which since the 6th of this month had been developed in the city of Cartagena, and in addition to musical performances, have also been conducted children's workshops and exhibitions
The twenty-first edition of the National Folk Festival in the District of Cartagena lived on Saturday July 13 the last cultural evening.
Clothed by the residents of the town and visitors who did not want to miss this farewell, different folk groups who performed to show off their best stuff, bringing to a close the popular customs of this land.
Nor want to miss this party end many members of the Municipal Corporation as the councilors of Celebration and Women, Florentina Garcia and Clara Hall, who attended accompanied by the mayors of Infrastructure, Francisco Espejo, Safety, Mariano García and District Councillor 6, Isaiah Camarzana.
Thus, this Folk Festival featured performances from the following groups: Infantil Santa Florentina Folkloric Group, Grupo Folklorico City Cartagena Folklore Association Our Lady of Sorrows of Malaga, Yecla Arabi Folkloric Group, and the Association of Virgin Dance Tanos Nevis Torrelavega in Cantabria.
This edition kicked off Saturday July 6, and throughout the week, along with musical workshops for children, also inaugurated the exhibition, Pathways to recoder, while one of the nights was devoted to Folk, which was enlivened by the group Extremadura Acetre Bilingüe Folk.
As usual, the Palm of Casas Grandes was the main stage.
After the group's performance versionó Deja-Vu songs of the eighties, and you're in the early hours of Sunday, the Patio de las Casas Grandes closed its doors until next year, when the culture and folklore again be the protagonists.
