On Thursday, July 11, will be the symbolic lifting of the eleven distinctive quality Q and the eight blue flags awarded to the beaches of the municipality of Cartagena.
The event will take place at 10.30 am in the Levante beach of Cabo de Palos to have received two of these distinctions and will be attended by the Mayor, Pilar Barreiro, along with the council of Infrastructure and Tourism, Francisco Espejo and Palazón Carolina.
The eleven beaches that look this year the quality Q, awarded by the Institute for Spanish Tourism Quality.
be San Ginés (The Azohía); Cala Cortina, Playa de Levante (Cabo de Palos), Cala del Pino, Galúa, Cavanna and La Gola (La Manga), Playa Honda, and Mar de Cristal and smaller islands.
The eight that look blue flags awarded by the Association of Environmental and Consumer Education are Cala del Pino, the beaches of Poniente and Levante Minor Islands, Sea Glass, Levante Beach in Cabo de Palos, Cala Cortina, San Ginés in The Azohía and Paradise Beach.
The Q of Quality and blue flags are two distinctly different.
The Q of Quality is primarily focused on the quality of tourist services offered in public or private beach.
The Q of Tourist Quality Standards include two types of requirements, some related to the outcome (benefit) of the various services and related systems and methods (processes) necessary to ensure the level of quality of services.
