The Roman Theatre Museum, in collaboration with the Summer Courses of the UPCT 2013, has organized a course on cultural heritage and tourism development.
Culture, travel and travelers throughout history, to be held in the Auditorium of the Museum of 15 to 17 July for already open enrollment period.
The course will address the importance, increasing Cultural Heritage, Museums and Art, as catalysts of the Society and Tourism.
In recent years the term has been coined Cultural Tourism, although its origins date back to the early Enlightenment cultural travel.
However, in the twenty-first century cultural journey still valued as an experience and value to any offer of tourist promotion, example of this is the new tourism slogan of Spain's Culture.
Therefore, in the course will cover various aspects related to routes and travel throughout history, from Hannibal to travelers by sea XXI century and Maritime Routes or travel time involved in the visit Cartagena.
It will also address the experience of a traveling cultural institution, if Gabarron Foundation, and the new challenges of the XXI century in Spain in tourism.
Participate in this training recognized professors, archaeologists, artists and cultural managers and tourism, including archeology professors Luzon and Arturo José María Ruiz, directors of museums, Xavier Nieto and Elena Ruiz, with the director of Activities Cultural Cartagena Port Authority, Fernando Muñoz.
Also participating the FCG painter and sculptor, by the manager of its foundation, we will transfer the experience of traveling Foundation.
The course will end with a conference on the new challenges of the XXI century in Spain.
