The present site of the St. Lucia Yacht Club, which opened in 1953, celebrates its 60th anniversary with a program of activities that will develop throughout the weekend, and today began with the official ceremony the unveiling of a plaque commemorating this anniversary, by the chairman of the Port Authority, Adrian Viudes Ángel.
The event was attended by civil and military authorities, and the council of Sports, Diego Ortega, and District, Isaiah Camarzana, the president of the Sailing Federation of the Region of Murcia, Pedro Roman, Vice Admiral of the Arsenal, Fernando Zumalacárregui, and President of the Yacht Club, Diego Varela.
Activities continue on Friday, June 28, with a wreath and a concert with Robinson on the island and Early Flemish.
On Saturday 29, will celebrate the 60th anniversary 1st Test for Latinos of 21 spans, barbecue and concert with The Mississippi Band.
And finally, on Sunday June 30 will be held the 2nd Test Latino race and prior to the closing, you can savor a Moraga.
