On June 4, students MOVES-T Project of Los Dolores, La Palma and the Virgin of Charity neighborhood paid a visit to the Terra Natura Park as a complementary activity to intercultural coexistence modules, environment and sport.
Foster relationships between project participants and the environment. Ã ‰ ste was the aim of this social activity in which the students created a space of coexistence between different neighborhoods, enhancing basic skills of interaction.
In addition, Terra Natura enjoyed the knowledge of wetlands, flora and fauna, as well as activities carried out at the water park.
MOVES-T is a project granted by the Ministry of Employment and Social Security through the Office of Migration to the city of Cartagena, aimed at young immigrant neighborhoods of the city, whose objective is the integration of third country nationals in the city .
The project, which began in February and will end on December 31, is managed by the City of Cartagena through the Department of Social Care and Youth, and the Agency for Local Development and Employment.
The actions planned in the project have a duration of two months and a half in each of the following neighborhoods noted for their high percentage of nationals in third countries: T he ​​Dolores, La Palma, Slum Lady of Charity and The Aljorra.
The project has a budget of 80,000 euros, and the grant of 60,000 euros, giving the city the rest.
