The Social Care Councillor, Antonio Calderon, visited yesterday, Wednesday June 12, the Home of the Good Samaritan Home in Mills Marfagones. The mayor toured the facilities of this social entity accompanied by the director of it, Juan José Sanchez.
During the course of the visit, Calderon chatted with residents and volunteers, while firsthand checked successive enlargements and improvements that have been undertaken.
And, in the center has located the headquarters, offices and stores of food delivered daily, while also installed the trail of second hand items.
The Shelter Home has capacity to accommodate about thirty people. Has two small houses for families in need and other housing over several rooms.
For ten years, Good Samaritan complements social assistance provided in the dining room located in the Citadel Street Neighborhood Virgin of Charity, with the shelter located on the Mills Marfagones.
