Youth Councillor, Ruth Collins, has been commissioned to receive the students and teachers of the six centers participating European Comenius Project, Believing in Humanity. Coordinated by the IES Mediterranean, Believing in Humanity Comenius Project is a program to promote educational activities that promote civic and democratic values ​​as respect for nature, human rights, social justice, culture of peace, rejection violence and racism, or gender equality, among others.
The activities carried out so far by the Cartagena Mediterranean IES yield results favorable social awareness of students. And, students have come to appreciate the importance of coexistence and tolerance as enriching actions of the individual and society as a whole .
