The quality of care in times of crisis, the safety of patients and hospital infections are some of the issues from yesterday until tomorrow, Friday, June 7, will be analyzed at Municipal Auditorium
Preventive Medicine in our time around the economy and health. Under this premise is presented Congress and VI XVII International Congress of the Spanish Society of Preventive Medicine, Public Health and Hygiene which is being held since yesterday, miérdoles 5 June in the Auditorium and Congress Palace El Batel Cartagena.
Three days in which national and international experts meet in a conference in which they address the patient safety, hospital acquired infections and vaccinations in a context of economic crisis, coupled with the fragility of the health system.
It also will feature the prestigious Professor Sir Brian Jarman, a researcher at the School of Public Health at Imperial College London and consultant at Harvard and Cambridge, who will give a workshop on hospital mortality rates.
Calculations, discussion, international cooperative groups. Also participating in the round table in which the results of the analysis presented internationally on the conference.
A score of international laboratories from the likes of Sanofi Pasteur MSD, Pfizer or Inibsa also participate in this Congress, in order to present the latest developments in the areas of debate these days about preventive medicine that culminate tomorrow, Friday June 7.
