The Plan to Improve Competitiveness is a free service for companies, the result of collaboration between technicians of ALDE, the CEEIC, and Pust, which looks at the needs they may have SMEs, while supports businesses that want to improve their competitiveness in the market
The European Business and Innovation Cartagena (CEEIC) Beaza Cabezo Polygon, took place this morning presenting the first of a series of plans to improve the management of companies in difficulty or want to grow and improve their competitiveness.
The meeting was chaired by Councillor for Employment, Diego Ortega, who was accompanied by the director of CEEIC, Ángel Martínez, the dean of the Faculty of Business, Antonio Duréndez, as well as the officers of the company has requested to participate in this pilot project, Hispanic Lusa SL Cartagena Machinery.
This new free diagnosis and technical support to companies is the result of joint work by the technicians of the ALDE, UPCT and CEEIC own and created with the purpose of raising the fore the entrepreneur. It arises from the need to support businesses that are already established and the aim is to propose an improvement plan to maximize the potential of the business, in the words of Ortega, who thanked the cooperation of the company Cartagena.
The methodology has revolved around the popular Matrix SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Threats, Strengths and Opportunities) and consisted of a battery of questions along with interviews, while the analysis is stopped in six main areas: Organization and Human Resources, Marketing and Sales, he rea Economic and Financial, Administration and Finance, Procurement, Production, Warehouse and Logistics, and Innovation.
It has also placed emphasis on the entrepreneur CEEIC director during his meeting with the media. External support is open to any company because it is not only analyze how the crisis has affected, but also propose new alternatives for growth. Initially this new tool is to Cartagena, but it is possible to extend it to the Shire and even extrapolate to the Region of Murcia.
The improvement plan addresses a first diagnosis and action phase, and a second tracking.

This new business plan has been submitted to the M inistry of Industry, Energy and Tourism.
According to the Councillor for Employment, this zero cost service for businesses has developed its own funds and is expected to once it is perfected to participate in national and even international calls with obejto to attract new funds.
Following the presentation to the media, ALDE technicians and officers of the company have continued to Cartagena closed-door meeting in order to study and discuss the lessons learned after the diagnosis and situation analysis.
