The young winners Ecolimpia Drawing Contest, which is organized by the Department of Education and the company FCC Medio Ambiente SA, gathered this morning well pleased awards to their good work with pencils and paints to continuing with the need for awareness and care Environment.
At the awards ceremony, which took place in the Ceremonial Hall of the Town Hall, attended, along with the winners and teachers of the participating centers, the Councillor for Education, Joseph Marotta, and as responsible for FCC, Fernando de Mateo López Luengo and Nicholas Square.
The Ecolimpia Drawing Contest, held during the school year and is aimed at students in grades 5 and 6 primary, has had the participation of a total of fourteen centers: Mastia, Our Lady of Begoña, Aljorra Felix Rodriguez de la Fuente, Miguel de Cervantes, Luis Calandre, Sacred Heart, St. Kitts, The Alums, Santa Joaquina de Vedruna, Narwhal, Fernando Garrido, Miralmonte and Garden City.
Among the 478 drawings painted by students of all places, the drawing winner was entitled, My city clean, the student Eunice Patricia Fernández Jiménez, Mastia College, which has won the first prize, a tablet for her and other for College, the second prize went to the Aljorra College student Nuria Martinez Martinez, who has been awarded a bicycle and third prize was awarded to Laura Pagan Rosary Virgin of Begoña College who has won an MP5. Moreover there seven drawings finalists, and students who have painted them delivers a Certificate of Participation.
The theme should be Ecolimpia dibujeo as we can keep our environment clean, trying in this way that students and plasmaran imagine his thinking on this issue as of today in our city.
Of the fourteen centers that have submitted their drawings, six of them were runners: Mastia, Aljorra, Our Lady of Begoña, Sacred Heart, St. Kitts and Garden City and are given a Certificate of Participation.
