On Thursday May 30, at 12 am, the Navy and the city of Cartagena will make delivery of the solidarity of the IV route Strengths nine charities.
The money will go into the Hall of chool Marine General Albacete and Fuster, with the assistance of representatives of companies and groups that have participated and collaborated in the organization of the event.
The Cartagena Arsenal Chief Vice Admiral Ferdinand Zumalacárregui Luxán chair the event with the council for Infrastructure, Safety and Social Care, Francisco Espejo, Antonio Garcia and Calderon.
These donations come mainly from the money raised from the registration fees of participants, and the amounts donated by local companies Cartagena, after deducting the required fees and liability insurance accident participants, and common expenses test.
The beneficiary organizations of this year have been chosen by agreement between the organizers, the Navy and the city of Cartagena.
It is the childhood home (Orphanage), Alzheimer Association (AFAL), Caritas, Food Bank of the Region of Murcia, Down Syndrome Association, Carousel Foundation (Equine), Pablo Ugarte Association, Dining solidarity Jesus Master and Pastor of Caritas and Damas del Carmen.
The IV route of the Strengths, sports civic test held on Saturday April 20, 3500 challenged participants to take a tour of 51 kilometers by the most representative castles and fortresses of the city in a maximum of 12 hours.
In the same 3100 successfully managed to finish people.
