Organized by the School of Public Safety (SPACE) and within the Training Plan of the City of Cartagena, on days 21, 22 and 28 May, there has been a course on Automated External Defibrillator (AED) targeting agents Local police, with the aim of reducing mortality and sequelae that cause cardiac arrest.
The course was organized according to the provisions of Decree 349/2007 of 14 November, regulating by the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia AED use by nonmedical personnel.
It has been taught and coordinated by Antonio Pastor Clement, Doctor of Medicine and Surgery, and Director of he area of Sports Medicine of the City of Cartagena, and the Diploma in Nursing and members of the Fire Department, Carlos Enrique José Joaquin Ferrero Bazar Ruiz Zamora.
