A total of 120 students attended the Polytechnic between March and May and Dissemination seminars on Entrepreneurship taught in Cartagena, and already has organized another cycle for the last term of the year
The Diffusion of Entrepreneurship has reached 120 students of the Polytechnic University of Cartagena, which h ave attended the seminars taught at the Faculty of Sciences of the Company between March and May.
This initiative arises from cooperation between the Office of Entrepreneurs and Technology-Based Firms - UPCT, Local Development Agency and Employment City of Cartagena and the Institute for the Promotion of the Region of Murcia, to try to encourage the creation of companies high technological content.
The idea is to support and encourage, from the university, students consider entrepreneurship as an option for the future, to change their perceptions about possible professional development opportunities, and learn critical thinking skills, on the basis that the promotion of entrepreneurship will be key to job creation and economic growth of the member countries of the European Union.
For the second semester of academic year 2012/2013 are scheduled three levels of seminars to promote entrepreneurship and entrepreneurial culture among students UPCT, granting a credit for their achievement in the course.
CYCLE OF SEMINARS
Outreach Seminars Entrepreneurship are intended for attendees to discover their abilities as entrepreneurs self, favoring his creativity, risk taking, leadership, motivation and decision-making, teamwork and planning.
For this, we have organized three levels of 30 students per level:
Level I: Taking challenges, Communication and Teamwork.
Given the great success it has provided this course have created two groups.
Group A and Group B
Level II: Capacity Monitoring, Taking Risks: Change and Resistance to Change, Mobility and Motivation.
Level III: From Idea to Form: Planning without action is a dream, action without planning is destruction.
