The mayor delivered Monday annealing plates to retired last year |
Public employees of the City of Cartagena will celebrate on Friday, May 24, to his patron Saint Rita.
On this occasion will be closed to the public administrative units until Monday.
As every year, the municipal public employees have organized a series of cultural, sports and leisure, which began on Wednesday May 15th a poetry recital at Cafe Mr. Witt of San Roque Street, which several officials poetry fans read their work.
Activities continued on Friday May 17 with the opening of the traditional exhibition of painting, photography models and Cultural Center Luzzy Ramon Alonso.
The exhibition will be open until the 30th of this month.
The works are made by municipal officials and also by popular vote were given three awards for each modality.
On Wednesday May 22, the day of Santa Rita, took place in the afternoon Mass at the Church of San Diego, along with a championship Kart at Tejeras circuit.
It is clear that the holiday has been moved by mutual agreement and to affect a lesser extent, from Wednesday to Friday 24 May.
Tonight there will be a Dinner Dance Lady fraternization in Gold and tomorrow, day off will be held in the morning, from nine in the morning a biker route, which will depart from Los Patojos and tour the western municipality, ending with a tasting of a paella.
For those who have no bike, there will be a tourist route, which goes at 9.30 am from the Zenith bound for the Sima de las Palomas in Torre Pacheco.
Finally, on May 31 will be a championship bowling, dominoes and mus.
TRIBUTE TO THE CITIZENS OF THE YEAR ÚLTIMO
As has become customary in recent years, the mayor will take the feast of St. Rita to honor the twenty municipal employees retired or deceased in the last twelve months, which will give recognition plaques for services rendered.
The event will take place on Monday, May 27, in the ceremonial hall of the Town Hall, at 12:30.
